The chicken pesto is delicious! The pasta cooked al dente the chicken is tasty. Indoor and outdoor areas are comfy, there are tables with socket, staffs are welcoming and nice. Will come back to try the coffee and kue lapis :)
Ordered coffee and smoothie bowl it comes with free a glass of water and small piece of lapis legit (cake). Overall Good. Menu book can be improved to look better maybe Thank You.
I arrived at Desix at around 11:20am and ordered some mixed-flavour kueh lapis. The selection was already very limited at that time, with pandan and original flavours sold out. We asked if there would be more, and were told we had to come back in about an hour because the cakes were still hot and couldn’t be cut yet. So we bought whatever was available and left. On the way back to our villa later, our driver happened to pass by the shop again, so I quickly stopped to check. Unfortunately, the situation didn’t improve. The pandan flavour was still “sold out” even though I could clearly see a full slab sitting there. The original flavour, which I was told earlier just needed time to cool, still couldn’t be cut even though it had already been more than an hour. That was quite frustrating and honestly felt like a waste of time making a second trip. It would really help if they listed their products on Grab or Gojek so customers can check availability and order digitally instead of having to travel down only to find out items aren’t actually available for purchase yet. The kueh itself is good, but the availability and purchasing process could definitely be much more convenient.
3rd generation recipe!! The owner is delightful We tried the original but will be back to sample the other flavours Clean, lovely staff and delicious cake
We stopped in as we saw the picture of the special layered cakes similar to what we found in Malaysia. They did not disappoint! We ordered the traditional and it was excellent very fresh and moist. Coffee was great as well. The staff were charming. An excellent spot, do not miss it for a unique treat.
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here, and it was an excellent start to my day. The cozy ambiance and exceptionally kind staff made the experience even more delightful. For breakfast, I opted for an omelette with bread and bacon, and it did not disappoint. The omelette was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and flavorful, and delicious. The bacon was crispy, and the bread was fresh, providing the perfect complement to the meal. Also, they have a buttery cake in Indonesia name Lapis Legit, I haven't taste it yet, but seems it's looks so good, if you never taste Lapis Legit, you should try one. As in Indonesian, Lapis Legit is very popular. It taste sweet and buttery, and you shouldn't eat it so much A noteworthy perk is their offer of free coffee or tea with breakfast from 7 am to 11 am. I chose a cup of coffee, which was rich and robust, enhancing the overall meal experience. Overall, Desix Cafe offers a great breakfast with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. The kind and attentive staff add a personal touch that makes the visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by, especially for their morning special.
We came for the cake, but because we were unsure whether it's worth the price, we got the trial portion first, which was a three-pieces (available: cheese and plum variants). The cake is soft, the sweetness is just nice (not too sweet) and not oily. The cheese variant is the winner. The restaurant also serves food and coffee, the espresso is good (strong enough for my taste, I am a coffeee drinker), although unfortunately some menus are unavailable (lemonade espresso and vanilla ice cream for the affogato). The cappuccino is strong enough as well. There is an outdoor seating (beside aircon area outside). The setback is no parking for car, but there is an option to park at Sunset Point (very nearby).
very cool clean delicious good service. All thing is perfect.
